About NASA

NASA United FC is a non-profit youth soccer organization. The club was originally established under the name of Paterson Youth Soccer Association to provide a recreational outlet for the many underprivileged children in the City of Paterson and its surrounding areas. After increased membership during the first few years, the club adopted its current name of NASA United Soccer in August of 1999 to reflect its place in the greater Passaic County and Bergen County region. During this phase, NASA United formed its first club team and began competing in various traveling leagues.

To help continue the learning process for the players of NASA, the club started an intensive training curriculum based on advanced ball possession skills and technical creativity. These skills are taught by our professional staff of trainers who are all USSF Licensed and Certified. The staff includes former international players, some with World Cup experience. These extremely qualified trainers teach the game in a specifically designed format for players at various stages from U7 – U18. In addition to the technical and tactical training sessions, club players are also able to learn from their trainers’ vast knowledge and experience from playing professionally at the highest levels of the sport. As a result of these highly effective training methods, NASA United FC has been able to capture the NJ State Championships in 2002, 2003 & 2010.

NASA United is consistently rated as one of the top soccer clubs in the region and has been ranked as high as #3 in NJ through Gotsoccer. NASA has won multiple NJ State Championships and has had many teams reach the semi-finals and finals. On several occuassions, our teams have advanced to US Regional Championships in New Hampshire and North Carolina. NASA has also competed in international tournaments in Italy, Colombia and Canada, as well as tournaments in Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania and other major showcase events. The club's teams play in premier leagues throughout the State of NJ and participate in highly competitive regional tournaments. Our goal is to help players achieve technical and tactical proficiency to be able to compete at the collegiate level, US national team level and/or professional level.

The NASA commitment to training and development has allowed many club alumni to continue to achieve success at higher levels. The list of alumni accomplishments includes College Scholarships, acceptance to Regional Olympic Development Programs as well as advancing on to NY Red Bulls Academy teams.
